Originally set up as the support arm for a U.S-based software reseller in 1983, Stream began working as an independent revenue generating division in 1995. In July 2008, Stream Holdings Corporation merged with Global BPO to become Stream Global Services. Stream Global Services is a public company and is listed on the NYSE Amex under the symbol “SGS”.
